Le Monde Sauvage Safari

Le Monde Sauvage Safari has three areas - the safari enclosure, the walk and the birdhouse. The safari enclosure is built on a hill and the road was very bumpy and partially muddy. Easier is the train for which there is an extra charge. Despite the mudholes, it was great to get close to hippos, rhinos, antilopes, giraffes, elefants and zebras. The walk starts at the small birdhouse with neighbouring restaurant and playground. Starting with goats, then some more birds, the path continues past the big cats and off into the woods. Here you will find North American animals (white wolves, bison, moose) and then apes (orang utans, chimpanzees). At the top end of the walk there is the bird of prey station. On the way back to the bird house, you will see bears. The bird house is small - most parrots - and there is a bird show here and at the birds of prey station. There is also a sealion show. I recommend Le Monde Sauvage Safari for a fun day.
