Berlin Zoo

Although situated directly in the centre of Berlin, this large zoo - with the most species in any zoo worldwide - takes you away from the hustle and bustle of Germany's capital city. I especially liked the night house - it takes awhile to adjust your eyes but it is definitely worth it.
Berlin Zoo is one of the few zoos in the world to exhibit panda bears.
